Linked Entities Translation Status

This page details the Translation Status of your Linked Entities when sent for translation

Linked Entities.

If you have configured the Connector to have linked/child Entities be sent for translation, then the linked/child entity will also have In Translation/Translated statuses applied as part of the parent Entity's Translation Job .

If a Product is included in a Translation Job and has linked/child entities, like Items, variants, SKU's then the Connector assesses what fields of the Item require translation and if any translation is required then the child entity will have the language shown in the In Translation field.

Even if there are no fields in the Product requiring translation when you create a Translation Job and so the Product itself does not get any languages showing in the In Translation field, the child entity will show the languages as In Translation if it has any fields requiring translation.

Similarly when you Import Translation Jobs that have linked/child Entities, the language of the Translation Job will now show in the Translated status field if the linked/child entity has been translated.
